We are shocked to learn that the

Cows in the Kawartha Lakes region.

Kawartha Lakes farming livestock outnumber the total amount of residents living in the Kawarthas.

We consider us very fortunate to be amongst the different farm cultures here.

From organic farms to dairy farms, chicken farms to sheep farms, there is always fresh food available at the farmers markets everywhere.

We love to stop in, as we drive through the countryside, at one of the open Kawartha farm stands or at one of the Mennonite farms to pick up fresh pies, vegetables and of course fresh corn.

We are in the process of gathering more information in regards to the different farm types and their benefits to the Kawartha Lakes area.
