The baby lambs in the video were just a day being weaned off of their mothers.
They told us that lambing season is always an interesting events.
They would begin in earnest around the month of December and carry on until the end of February.
Sometimes by luck they would also try for a September lambing. It is not unusual for them to have 100 lambs on the ground during one of these eight-week lambing intervals.
Most Kawartha farmers lamb in the lovely springtime during the months of April and May.
