"Experience our Pigeon Lake view
from a helicopter ride."

These Pigeon Lake view photos are dedicated to the pilot who took us for the ultimate 10 minute ride (Jack Verduyn).

The helicopter in the backyard

Our long time family friend Jack Verduyn and his wife Marlene came for a visit on the lake, not by car, but with their helicopter. The following morning Jack took us for a ride.

No time could be waisted in making a desicion to fly, the clowds were starting to roll in. Jack checked the controls, the exterior and the propellers for our safety, and a half hour later we were ready for take-off.

Oak Shores Marina on Little Bald Lake

All we could see was water weaving between all the trees. It was hard to make out what lake was what and get our bearings. As we passed over Oak shores Marina and started to head back we had to find our landing pad in the back yard amoungst all the trees you'll see below.

The Bobcaygeon Water Tower

Thanks to the Bobcaygeon water tower, we knew we were headed in the right direction, flew over big bald lake to little bald lake, then down the straights to Pigeon Lake. Within minutes our landing pad was in view.

Thanks Jack for bringing us back
