I volunteer at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay

There are many opportunities for volunteers at the hospital.

I started 3 years ago and have done different duties.

First I started in the Emergency area and enjoyed it very much.
Sometimes I was just there for people whose loved-one was just brought in to the emergency area. I talked with them and when the procedures were completed I could call them in to see the patient.

From there I helped, for a short time, in the Rehab. department.

Now I do the tuckcart (offering patients throughout the hospital books,chocolates,cosmetics etc.) to buy.

In the pm. I am at the information desk and have lots of fun. Volunteers are a great bunch of people and I meet lots of nice,
sometimes sad,interesting people.

I would recommend volunteering for Ross Memorial hospital whole heartely.
