Victoria County Historical Society

I am involved in fundraising and publicity for the VCHS as well as acting as editor of the membership newsletter.

It is a very exciting time to be involved with the Society. All the volunteers and the Board of Directors have worked hard to make the Olde Gaol Museum a reality.

There are many volunteer opportunities available with this organization with as much time commitment as one could wish for.

A yard sale will be held on May 14th, 2011. The new museum opens on May 24th. The Annual Meeting of the Society is May 26th, 2011. There will be a dinner and dance, the Lilac Cotillion on May 27, 2011 and a heritage day, Honouring our Past on July 23, 2011.

As you can see, the Society is a vibrant, exciting place to volunteer.
