Any ideas on how thick the ice is?

Hey there, came across your site.. and all i can say is wow. I love the winter pictures.. I am planing to go up to Peterborough this weekend, and was wondering if you had any ideas on how thick the ice is and if you have any advice for the drive there.... I would be coming up from Markham, this is something that is gonna be attempted for the first time so any info would be appreciated thanks allot bob

and I think it meant to say, "...Once your page is done you're finished."
your = you're (you are) finished.
